Seclusion
Seeing you alone for so long,
I wish to give thee company.
Being alone must truly lonely be,
Yet lonesomeness needs no friend.
In the darkness there are no truths,
Only secrets lurk in the shadows.
A lightless lamp needs not fuel to stay lit,
It remains dependent on only itself.
A shadowed figure keeps its mystery,
Reveals its secrets not.
Yet this life brings no challenge of it,
No reason to struggle forward.
And a lonely heart longs for love,
It thirsts for nectars sweet.
An empty life fills no soul,
Lying cold and weak within your being.
