I Always Want It To Be This Way

Many a night,
Many a day.
Feels so right
I have to say.

You like to laugh,
You like to smile.
Together we've walked
Many a mile.

When you go to sleep,
I want to be there.
Laying beside you,
Smelling your hair.

Your body close,
Right next to mine.
Our hearts as one,
Beating in time.

When morning comes,
I want to see you there.
In a sweet slumber,
Looking so fair.

Every night,
Every day.
I always want it
To be this way.

I'm not Mr. Perfect,
I'm not Mr. Money.
But I vow to you I'll be
Sweeter than honey.
